Yerkes is excited to welcome all for a celebration and exploration of art at our next open house on Thursday, May 21 from 6pm – 8pm! Join us for a chance to connect with local artists Neal Aspinall and Suzanne Bucher, learn new artistic techniques, hear music in the dome, and create your own art inside and outside the observatory. As always, we’ll also have engaging family activities, a scavenger hunt and prizes, sweet treats, observing with small telescopes outside if it is clear, and more for your family to enjoy. 

The open house will take place rain or shine. This does not include use of telescopes within the building. Parking will be on-site at the observatory, and advance reservations are required. This event is sold out!
