Outreach Assistant

The Outreach Assistant is responsible for operating various telescopes at Yerkes Observatory, including the historic Great Refractor – the largest working refracting telescope in the world. The Outreach Assistant runs programs that show telescope views of astronomical objects to the public and engage with visitors from around the world on topics of general astronomy and the history of the Observatory.
