Join the astronomy team at Yerkes Observatory on Thursday, June 5 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm for an introduction to telescopes and observing! This event is perfect for beginners, families, or anyone looking to improve their telescope skills.

We’ll cover the basics of telescope use, guide you through setting up your own telescope, and, if the skies are clear, practice observing together. Plus, we’ll share plenty of tips, tricks, and resources to help you make the most of your telescope. We recommend this workshop for people with telescopes, so please bring yours with you!
