World’s Tallest Glass Tree Festival

It’s that time of year to be part of this already-classic holiday festival showcasing the construction & glass artists of the world’s tallest glass tree! New this year: ALL TICKETS allow entry inside the famous Observatory’s Hagenah Rotunda for a stroll up to see the world’s largest refracting telescope in the Big Dome at this open-house experience.

The heated market tent features regional artisans and craftspeople, gift shops, and a bar for beer and wine. The festival grounds will have chainsaw artists, outdoor fire pits with lounge seating, a warming tent with music and activities, Magpie’s Den & Pen food truck, coffee & hot chocolate huts, and more.

IMPORTANT:
You must park down the street at Williams Bay School (Geneva Street lot) and take the five-minute trolley ride to and from the World’s Tallest Glass Tree Festival at the Observatory.

TICKETS:
Kids ages 12 and under are free! (Please reserve all kids here so we know how many people to expect. Thanks!)
$20 for ages 13 and up
$30 for a multi-day pass good for the entire festival. (*This is not transferrable to another person.*)
$150 for VIP parking pass good for one car to park at Yerkes, 4 admission tickets, 4 passes for the glass-adding experience onto the iconic tree, and a $5 off coupon for the Mack Glass retail shop in the tent. The VIP 4-pack plus the torch & furnace classes are also sold separately on our website.
*All tickets for the experience to add glass to the legendary tree are sold on site, except with the VIP 4-pack listed above.

*Star-topping ceremony expected to start at 4pm on the final Sunday.

YES to wheelchair accessibility for these elements: the free shuttles from Williams Bay School, the festival tent, Yerkes’ exterior throughout the festival grounds, one exterior washroom, Yerkes’ interior central floor and gift shop. NO wheelchair accessibility for the Great Refractor Dome.
