Emily Wade

Research Associate

Emily earned her B.S. degrees in Astronomy and Physics from The University of Texas at Austin in 2023 with a research focus on Galactic archeology and stellar kinematics. At Yerkes, she conducts research using our telescopes and photographic glass plate collection, mentors summer undergraduate intern research projects, operates the 40″ Great Refractor for our Exploring the Night Sky observing tours, and assists with programming and public outreach events.
