We’re so excited to welcome you all for our 2025 Open House season! This year, we’ll be hosting four open houses. Each event is rain or shine and includes a variety of activities for you and your family, with unique speakers and themes. Make sure to save the dates below! 

• Saturday, March 22, 7pm-9pm Messier Marathon Open House
• Friday, June 20, 7:30pm-9:30pm – Summer Solstice Open House
• Friday, August 15, 7:30pm-9:30pm – Perseids Meteor Shower Open House
• Saturday, October 4, 6pm-8pm – Community and International Observe the Moon Night

These events do not include the use of the telescopes in the building, though all will be welcome to see the Great Refractor dome and we will try to observe with smaller telescopes outside if clear. Reservations are required.  Tickets for this event cost $5 per child and $10 for adults and are available online only.  Tickets for each event will be released about one month prior to the event. There will not be parking onsite at the Observatory. Ticket holders must park at Williams Bay School and board an accessible trolley that will run a continuous shuttle between the school and observatory during the Open House.
